Bell, Book & Scandal
6 pm, Wednesday, May 31
The four corners where Washington Road, Castle Shannon Boulevard, and Lebanon Avenue intersect is one of the most history-laden intersections in Mt. Lebanon. You’ll start this 90-minute hardly-any-walking walking tour with a behind-the-scenes look at the library led by former Mt. Lebanon Library Children’s Librarian Judy Sutton. From there, you’ll move to the
four corners themselves to hear the history of Mt. Lebanon as revealed in its architecture, municipal planning, transportation, community buildings and a scandal. Finally, you’ll retire to the nave of Southminster Presbyterian Church for a brief talk on their stained glass and famous bells. Meet inside the lower entrance to the library.

NO TICKETS WILL BE MAILED. YOUR NAME WILL BE ON A LIST HELD BY THE TOUR GUIDE. THANK YOU.

NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS UNLESS WE CANCEL THE EVENT.
